In the beginning God designed marriage to be enjoyed between a legally married man and woman. Marriage originated from the Garden of Eden Genesis 2:18-25 . . . God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion who will help him.” Mark 10:6-9 . . . This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Marriage was God’s idea from the very beginning.

Marriage has been abused by many persons. This is because bestiality, homosexuality is now alarming in  many countries. This trend has led to many marital break up among believers and non-believers. Many Christians are struggling with their marriages, because, there is a missing link in their lives. Many couples are not applying marital principles that is why there is high rate of divorce cases and marital fracas. Family polity has become the order of the day in many homes.

Marriage is one of the institutions that one needs to be careful about, because it is God that instituted it, to enable humanity multiply and fill the earth. However, it becomes pertinent for one to understand it’s ethics, rules and principles. With  this the husband and wife will not be struggling with their union.
